My get pushed challenge from Anita @neatz - This week I would like you to produce a shot which celebrates a range or spectrum of coloured man made objects. This should have an eye for arrangement, pattern or form.
These are some artworks that are on sale the small harbour of Kalk Bay in CapeTown.
I'm from Tulbagh, Western Cape, South Africa. Tulbagh is a small farming community.
Get Pushed Challenge: I have been doing this challenge on and off...
O I really like these. Even though you have not formed an arrangement the artist has used interesting shapes, colours and they look amazing against the texture of the brick wall. I particularly like the Africa ones. So great job. Hope it wasn't too hard to find something to post. What I love about this is you set a challenge and think it will turn out a certain way and then the other person's interpretation is not at all what you had in mind but fulfills the job perfectly and opens one's eyes to a new interpretation of the brief.. I like the idea of the art being the "man-made" element in itself.
@onewing Babs, this is pretty much as captured. I straightened it slightly and might have upped the shadows. It's the display of an artist who is displaying their wares in the harbour, near the fresh fish market.
@olivetreeann thank you Ann. I wanted to get a picture of the person selling the pictures, not sure if she's the artist or just the seller but non of her pictures turned out.
