Here is the home microscope complete with slides from the last school experiments. Have had a lot of fun with this over the years although the expectation today is to get a much closer and clearer look than the scope of this old 1950's piece of equipment.
@francesc In testing it again the piece is not as efficient as I remember. In my day we really had to work the light and gear to see anything. My kids explored it as well.
