Helen is a Chatham Island celebrity, she spent time here as a child when her grandparents lived here. It was built by Missionaries and has been slightly rebuilt over the years.
Filled with her collections in every room, plants and shells collected from her beach of shells.
She lives here in isolation with her cat (who jumps over the fence) and 2 dogs.
@kali66 I have to say she has hoarded many more thousands of soft toys than in the article laid out in the guest room upstairs. Like you I admire her resilience living so isolated. A tiny house now filled with treasures still with her chickens, dogs and cat. Great articles, thanks.
