Heading to the summit

During the incredible climb I sat to look at the view of the rocky path ahead in the mountains. It was hot, still and calm. The track markers were easily seen snow poles across the ridge. They often went vertical over huge rock faces or sidled on narrow rocky ledges around huge rocks. Often daunting.

@dkbarnett Delwyn, at the end of each day I said that's another I'll never do again. The guides are clear, it's back country and for experienced trampers, of which I was not. I am now though.
