Upper Travers Hut sat on the edge of a large flat immediately below Mt Travers. It was a lunch spot for me as I headed to West Sabine Hut an area I thought I had walked decades ago. It appears the old hut has been changed and was in another location. West Sabine is another new hut on the other side of Travers Saddle. A wonderful climb.
