I made it to Te Anau after negotiating lots of road walking. First to get to the main road and then hitch to Te Anau for resupplies. I met up with a friend in Te Anau who was walking the Milford Track, so nice to have a taste of home away from home. And then plan for the next section.
The horizontal line is the main road through. The first blue X is Te Anau and the faint red line is my rough track through to Birchwood Station and onto Colac Bay the lower blue X.
