I found this frog in my large water barrel with no escape due to the low water level. Aha a trapped subject and time to learn more DSLR settings.
The top or first photo was a quick check on my setting, and it is out of focus.
The next one I had supplied my subject with a resting place and had time to adjust my settings for a moving close subject. Some improvement with focus especially on his eyes.
The last one is after I had much more time and consulted my manual and a happy frog drying out in the shade on some cardboard.
I'm not sure if I want to interfere with his circumstance but may do tomorrow.
PS: The plank of wood I placed in the tank gave a quick exit for the frog. The rain should give it cover to find a new home :-)
