Beee by sandradavies

Beee

Lemon myrtle (backhousia citriodora) I have two in my garden, although we are encouraged to remove them to avoid myrtle rust. The bees, butterflies and flies suck and get drunk in the summer's flowers. The leaves have a fragrant scent, nice in lemon scones.
A nice detailed shot

Intriguing - using them in scones! Nice detail.

@dkbarnett Yes Delwyn, the leaves are very strong. I grind leaves and use sparingly, you can also steep leaves in tea. I've steeped the leaves in hot milk and added to rice baked custard and lemon light scones. I take a small packet of dried leaves tramping.
