Night shot of the Royal Palace from across the danube River which devides Budapest into two parts, Buda on one side and Pest on the other. The current building (which replaces older ones) was built during the reign of Maria Theresa, Empress of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. Work on the construction of this palace began in the early 18th century.
