Parliament Building – Budapest – as seen from a window of a river boat while on a cruise on the River Danube following some rain. This majestic building is one of the two tallest buildings in Budapest and one of Europe’s oldest legislative buildings. Work on this building was started in 1885 and completed in 1896 in time for the commemoration of the 1000th anniversary of the formation of the Kingdom of Hungary in 896.
