For the 3rd consecutive day didn't go to swim this morning because of a severe cold. So I went to visit my dad and took the camera with me - took some daytime pictures of the festa decorations.
On the left: top Banner at 'The Ferries' and 1 of 4 silver flower vases with silver and other coloured metal flowers which decorate the base of the statue (according to my in-laws these were made by my wife's grandfather who was a dockyard worker and a great craftsman - died some 40 years ago). Middle left is Cathedral Street where my dad lives and below is High Street. Top right is St Vincent Street, Middle right is the main altar of the church and Bottom right is another statue of the Virgin Mary at 'The Ferries'. Middle picture is that of the titular statue of the parish.
This photo is better seen enlarged.
Congratulations and best wishes to Meg on her day of confirmation.
