General view of Ghadira Bay – picture taken on 4th instant. Ghadira bay is divided into two parts with a small rocky outcrop dividing this small bay here and the larger in the background. There were a few people who took the opportunity of a sunny day to go strolling on the sand – at the time filled with dead seaweed brought up by the rough seas of the previous day. Some 4 or 5 persons were even bathing. The young lady in the picture is writing a love letter for her loved one while he uninterestingly is playing with his mobile. That’s for romanticism.
"Love Letters in the Sand" is a popular song first published in 1931. Pat Boone's cover of the song became a major hit in June and July 1957, spending 5 weeks at number one on the Billboard Top 100, with 34 weeks in total on the chart. The song was used in Boone's film "Bernardine". The English singer, Vince Hill, reached No 23 in the UK Singles Chart in 1967, with his cover version of the track.
Thank you so much for looking at my pictures and for the lovely comments you made on my yesterday’s picture.
Interesting photo - nice and clear - I must say I enjoyed looking at it for quite a while - I noticed a building/structure looking like some sort of a castle on the hill/horizon - nice capture - well done!
@francois291059@buttercup Thank you very much for your lovely comments. And Francois I put a closer picture of the castle - actually it's a tower, the previous or next previous picture to this one if you would like to check it out.
