JUST DROPPED IN TO SAY HELLO

This lovable robin was in my garden, yesterday. Gave me enough time to rush inside and get my camera. Had some difficulty to capture him as he kept going from ground to branch to different branch, to ground again and so on.

The Robin is a sign that Autumn migration has come to an end. Robins are said to arrive in large numbers in October and November . Many of these winter in Malta – I’m not sure whether this is correct as I rarely see one in my garden. They feed from the ground searching for spiders, insects, worms, berries and seeds. Many Robins winter in the Mediterranean.
Great shot!

She's pretty! I'm always amazed to see shots of little birds because I imagine you have to be very fast to photograph them. Nice shot, there!
