FEAST OF ST PAUL’S SHIPWRECK (2)

This is the façade of the La Valette Band Club decorated for the occasion of the feast. The Band Club, named after the founder of Valletta and the most famous of the Order of St John’s Grand Masters, was established in 1874 and is in the Parish dedicated to St Paul’s Shipwreck and the main band of the parish. It is one of the best philharmonic bands in Malta with a great reputation both here and other places abroad which it visited from time to time.
Many thanks for looking and for your comments on yesterday’s pic. I was not present for the feast, Jennifer, just popped over to take some pictures. I'm sur, though, that those who attended, parishoners and ex-parishoners had a great time.
Happy St Valentine's day to all.
