FEAST OF ST PAUL’S SHIPWRECK (4)

Statue of St Paul on horseback erected on a storey-high pedestal in front of the Law Courts.
Saul, as he was then called, is here shown heading to Damascus to persecute the followers of Christ. On the way he saw a flash of light which blinded him and eventually converted him to the teachings of Christ. There is another Parish Church in Malta, in Rabat which is dedicated to the Conversion of St Paul.
This is a lovely shot of the statue! It's most likely the only way I'd ever get to see it! Thank you for sharing, Dione!
