Lamp posts lining part of the promenade in Sliema. The Sliema seafront promenade is one of the most popular parst of Malta during the Summer. Actually every seaside town or village has a seaside promenade which fills up in Summer. At the Sliema promenade there are verandahs in certain places where additional benches have be installed to accommodate more people. In this particular place which is close to the old watch tower dating from the 17th century there are three of these verandahs with two lamp posts each and this picture captures these lamp posts.
