The same scene as the one I posted the day before yesterday but at dusk and from a slightly different angle. Notice the so-called verandahs. Below them are other verandahs, about 2 storeys above the rocks. Those below do not have lamp posts but receive the light from those above. That is a fantastic place to sit in silence and enjoy the view of the sea – or, for the younger generation, to just hold hands with your loved one and enjoy his/her company. That is not for me, though, I love being in a group with lots of laughter.In the background is the Portomaso tower and to the left the old watch tower.

your eye really captures your thoughts beautifully - for me i enjoy both laughter and silence - would be so hard for me to chose just 1 - ok - for me i too would chose the laughter - "not that you asked" ! very insightfull dione!
