Or is it ‘La vache qui rie’
16th July. We had some hours to spare in Cogne and together with another couple we decided to go walking along the mountain tracks. We met a few very docile cows returning from the pastures. They were even ready to take bits of grass from people’s hands. My wife took this shot, and as usual for her, she took it too late ( I had already fed the cow) and cut half my head off (not that I need it all, ha).
La vache qui rie (the cow that smiles) is a popular brand of spread cheese in portions.
