18th July. I couldn’t resist posting this shot of these two photographers/trekkers who looked dwarfed by this tall pine tree as one of them takes pictures. The location is again the Col de la Forclaz. Perhaps they were 365ers too.
The Col de la Forclaz mountain pass was little known in the 19th century. It was not until the rise in tourism, particularly in Chamonix, that the region became a popular tourist area.
