Posting early today as I have an important meeting throughout this morning. Will comment later.
A final selection of shots from Notte Bianca
Photo 1: A denture on a cupcake is going to bite off my eldest brother’s head. Fun shot at Merchants’ Street.
Photo 2: People start coming into Valletta for the night. Many of them have already found a table to enjoy the food. This is, again, in Merchants’ Street.
Photo 3: Business was brisk in Valletta for food and wine establishments. This small wine bar in a steep side-street was also open to serve customers
Photo 4: Soldiers stand guard at the main entrance of the Auberge de Castille, the Prime Minister’s office. The place was open to the public. I didn’t have any interest to see what’s inside, I worked here for 11 years as a Director responsible for recruitment and movement of personnel in the public service.
Photo 5: Children having a buzz getting wet at the fountain.
Thank you so very much for looking and for your comments on yesterday's picture.
"Sausage sandwich" (I'm letting Magic -parrot- help me comment on photos today. She has a slightly limited, food orientated vocabulary!). She clearly recognises that your pics include several food references...
I like all the different scenes and views. I'd love to be in the fountain now too - it's pretty hot and sticky here!
