Took this shot while on the same early morning walk of yesterday’s shot. This is Ghasri Parish Church at 06.58 a.m. Masses have already been said and the village piazza is quiet. The church, which was designed by a local priest, Dun Guzepp Diacono was built in the early 20th century. The foundation stone was laid in 1903 and the church was dedicated to Corpus Christi on 9th January, 1916. It became a parish in December 1921. Ghasri is the smallest village in Gozo with with a population of 521 people, most of them farmers.
