NO SWIMMING ON SUNDAY

The sea was choppy on Sunday. The only thing this guy could do was to wet his legs while holding tightly on the railings. We didn’t swim either. Later we heard on the local news that two French tourists lost their lives while swimming in one of the bays in Gozo. Some people, especially those who live far away from the sea, do not realise that the sea could be cruel at times.
Tomorrow, Thursday, is Jeff and Nick day – The adventure begins.

Great shot to show how tricky the waves can be. I don't know why people think they can be unexperienced and swim like a pro in those kinds of situations. Even the pros don't swim in conditions like this!
