Because the sea was choppy on Sunday, few people were swimming but there still was activity on the beach. Here I caught a couple of friends exercising their dogs on the beach. The bigger black dog was running to fetch a ball which his owner was throwing while the little white one was racing after him barking without even trying to catch the ball. Every time the black dog brought back the ball, it went straight in this puddle seemingly to cool off.
Yesterday, 15th August, was a public holiday and the feast of the Assumption to heaven of the Holy Virgin. Several parishes around the Island are dedicated to the Assumption and have celebrated the feast. From higher ground, one could see fireworks in every direction. We were invited to a rooftop BBQ at Denise’s (my daughter’s) house in Mosta, one of the places where the celebrations were taking place. Took some shots from the roof and will show them later.
Thank you very much for looking and for your lovely comments on yesterday’s picture.
