I am back from a lovely vacation. I have taken lots and lots of photos which will take some to sort out. I will be posting a few of them in the coming days.
In the meantime I am posting some fillers.
These two kayakers were practicing their hobby on a Sunday morning a couple of months ago. Here they are going under a small bridge which links Manoel Island to Gzira. Manoel Island is a small piece of land in Marsamxett Harbour cut off from the land by a few metres of very shallow water – barely a foot deep. Sea currents which pass through this part keep the water from turning stale.
These two particular kayakers whom I know briefly enjoy making long distance paddles, on many occasions raising funds for charity. Amongst other feats, they have paddled from Sicily to Malta and from Tripoli (or Tunis) in North Africa to Malta.
Love the pov and the suspended motion, I keep waiting for the kayak to move forward. They sound very enthustiastic and how lovely that they work so hard for charity too.
