Mayor: “Hey ….. hey there!!! What’s all this hula-ba-loo? What’s all this shouting about? Who is this stupid fool trying to disturb the peace in my town?”
Nick: “Sorry, sir, it is us two. We are trying to raise the alarm – there’s a pirate ship out there ready to move in and raid the town. We have to put everyone on the alert. …….. By the way, who do we have the pleasure to be talking to.”
Mayor: “I am Riccardo, the mayor of this peace-loving town. Are you sure of what you’re saying? I have to check this out. Please tell me more.”
Jeff and Nick recount the story of the pirates for the umpteenth time.
Mayor: “Ok, I’ll see to this immediately.” Makes a mobile phone call: “Hello, Lisa. This is urgent, leave whatever you’re doing and get me a warrant to board a galleon that is offshore. I will need a coastal patrol boat with a few men. By the way try to contact a US cop named Terry on this mobile number ……..” Turns to Nick : “Is that correct?”
Nick: “Yes, sir.”
Mayor: “See if he wants to be there with us.”

Well I hope we can catch Terry in time before he gets caught up in his busy schedule. Between the two of us I do believe we can put an end to this pirate situation. Should have figured some how I would get pulled into this mess.
