DAY OF RECKONING by sangwann

DAY OF RECKONING

Riccardo (the Mayor): “Thanks Mr. em … em …….”
Terry: “Just Terry, Mr Mayor.”
Riccardo: “Well, thank you Terry for joining me in this very difficult mission. My town is a peaceful place and we are not used to such happenings.”
Terry: “Actually it is I who have to thank you for your kind invitation to accompany you. This will be a great experience for me working with the Italians. I hope your men up in front are well prepared in case of an emergency.”
Riccardo: “Oh they are definitely. They are coast guards and are used to working in these conditions. Besides I can call for re-enforcements any time I like.”
Terry: “Not if they throw you overboard.”
Riccardo: “Don’t be so dramatic, please, Terry. I am, too worried, already.”
Jeff to Nick: “Hey, Nick, I am so excited. We will see some sparks in a few minutes. I don’t want to miss this. After all, we are the heroes who have given advance warning to the town.”
Nick: “This is interesting, indeed. But let’s wait for the outcome before we cry victory”
Terry: “Do you like fishing, Mr Mayor? The sea is beautiful in this area. You must have some great fishing grounds around the place.”
Riccardo: “ Riomaggiore people live on fishing, besides the tourist industry. I have seen them bringing in great catches.”
Terry: “I am not a fisherman, but I’ve seen a guy fishing from the rocks and he caught a beautiful fish. It was this big. ………. Emm, excuse me Mr. Mayor, but you’re not looking.”
Riccardo: “So sorry, Terry, but I am trying to figure out how to approach these villains. You were saying?”
Terry: “There was this fisherman who caught a fish this big.”
Thank you very much for looking and for your wonderful comments on yesterday's picture.
This is so funny. You must spend hours getting the dialogue to work

Dione, you are just too funny! Love the way you put all these pictures together and your story line has us all sitting on the edge of our seats to see the outcome of this great sea battle! How are we ever going to wait until next Thursday??!!

@swilde @tonydebont @digitalrn @kerristephens @carwyn3 @angiec @pyrrhula @ivan @scooter @http365proj @olivetreeann @vickisfotos Thank you very much for your lovely comments. Once you get the idea the narrative comes out very easily - it is the selection of the shots to merge that takes some time. But it's fun.

Love the edit and the dialogue, especially the bit about how big the fish was, to match Terry's hands position. Very imaginative and great fun.
