Keeping my date with Jeff and Nick.
Can you distinguish some familiar faces here?
Riccardo (the Mayor) to Terry (not in picture): “Ho….ho….holy co..o..o..w! Do you see what I see? Is this some sort of vision or have we gone back to the 16th century, Terry? Are we in the Caribbean? My gosh!”
Terry: “Calm down, Mayor. You have to confront them now.”
Nick and Jeff screaming: “We told you! We told you! Do you believe us now???”
Riccardo and Terry: “Shut up you two!”
Riccardo to the crew: “What the hell is this - dressed in carnival costumes are you?”
Richard (one of the crew): “I don’t know who you are, sir, but we are following the captain’s orders.”
Captain Sparrow: “What the f*** is going on here? How dare you board my ship?”
Riccardo: “We have a legitimate warrant to do so, captain. Can you, please, explain what’s going on here? “
Captain Sparrow: “Who are you and what do you want?”
Riccardo: “I am the mayor of Riomaggiore and I would like to know what you are doing dressed like lunatics.”
Captain Sparrow: “Well it was the professor’s idea, here next to me. I will let him explain.”
Professor Nutty: “Well gentlemen, we are a university sponsored team tracing the voyages of the famous pirate, Captain Blackbeard. To make it more real, I have requested my crew to wear cloths from that time, use tools and weapons of that epoc, eat and drink like our ancestors did. Does that satisfy you?”
Nick (to Jeff): “Oops, my friend, what a gaffe we did. I think it’s time we disappeared.”
