Sunday, 29th December, was a fabulous day for me, photography-wise, when I had a whole day of photo-shooting opportunities.
As if I hadn’t taken enough pictures during the morning, many more opportunities came as soon as we set foot in Gozo. The first thing that meets the eye when the ferry boat enters Mgarr Harbour is this beautiful chapel on the top of a ridge overlooking the port with the statue of Our Lady of Lourdes in a rocky niche just under it. Through the years I have taken hundreds of shots of this place. This time I decided to post the shot because I loved the blackening sky meaning rain was on its way after a beautiful sunny morning.
Thank you very much for looking and for your lovely comments on yesterday's picture.
So much going on, and you captured it all, I like the little grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes, and of the beautiful church perched on the hilltop with it's clock tower, outstanding!
