BRING OUT THE CANDLE by sangwann

BRING OUT THE CANDLE

Last Thursday an abnormal power cut was experienced by the whole Maltese archipelago. Where I live, which is not more than 2 km from Mater Dei Hospital, is usually one of the first places to have electricity back to normal because of the hospital. This time we had to wait for 5 hours to have electricity coming to normal. When it started getting dark, Christine lit this candle which was in a candle holder with a glass globe and which she keeps for an emergency like this. The light the candle produced was making lovely reflections on the ceiling and the walls. I quickly got the camera and without bothering to support it I just took a few shots from different angles. I liked this one most..
Thank you very much for looking and for your lovely comments on yesterday's picture.
