This is for my friend, Pyrrhula. I had promised that I would post a full shot of a luzzu. Instead I am posting three. The colours are those traditionally used when painting a luzzu. A luzzu can be found in many varied sizes. The biggest were, in days gone by, used to transport all sorts of goods between Malta and Gozo, one of these has now been converted into a a ‘harbour cruise’ pleasure boat to take tourists from Sliema ‘The Ferries’ to and around Grand Harbour.
