He: “Will you marry me, Mary?”
She: “Oh, Joe! This is such a pleasant surprise. Emm …. Emm. Don’t be offended, Joe, I have to think it over.”
She looks away in embarrassment. Then “ I’m not sure if I’m ready for that at this moment. Give me some time, will you?”
When I uploaded this shot on the computer I kept looking at the serene atmosphere around this couple – he rowing the boat slowly and without hurry while she sat watching him. It seemed such a romantic moment that I imagined him proposing to her.
I took this shot from just below Fort St Angelo in Grand Harbour where Ian’s group stopped to take their photos (and I stopped with them).
Yesterday, Christine and I opened our swimming season. The sea was a bit chilly when you jump in but after a few strokes you get used to it. Now getting ready to go again.
Yesterday’s World Cup match of the day was Germany vs Ghana. Sadly I did not watch it (I even recorded on the dvd the wrong channel). I was told it was a wonderful game. I watched Argentina vs Iran earlier– Iran were too defence-minded and blocked their penalty area. So there weren’t many chances for a score. Argentina won in the end.
Thank you very much for looking and for your lovely comments on yesterday’s picture.
Charming and romantic, Dione. I appreciate the extended story you developed. Really a beautiful area, and it makes me smile to think of you and Christine swimming there!
Great light dione, just be careful with the horizon which is sloping a tad :-)
