ĊELESTINA

This is a cutting which I planted in my garden some 2/3 years ago and which has now grown into a tree more than 3 metres high. At this time of the year and throughout summer it is full of blue blooms. I don’t know its botanical name or what it’s called in English.

Another particularity of the Maltese alphabet is the ‘c’ with the dot on top. This is our version of the English ch (as in church). For ‘c’ as in ‘case’ we have the letter ‘k’.

I don't know the tree Dione but the flowers are beautiful. Love the light in this image

Fabulous blooms Dione. You should be proud to create a 3 meter tree from a cutting.

I have two of these in my garden here. They are very popular in Adelaide as they grow so easily. I prune mine quite hard after they have flowered. It is called Plumbago auriculata. I am not much of a gardener but I manage to keep these alive :) Yours is looking beautiful
