My resolution for 2015 is ‘laugh and laugh and laugh’. And these are the message and the wishes I wish to convey to you on the first day of 2015 and for the rest of the year. They are written down in the lines of the song shown in this picture.
Last Sunday afternoon we went to watch a pantomime with the title ‘Merry Poppins’. We were advised right from the beginning that taking photos was not allowed but I managed to sneak a few shots. This is one of them with the main actor – a man taking the part of this Merry Poppins – and the rest of the cast. The words are of a song written for the panto. We had such a great time.
We went out for dinner and to welcome the New Year, yesterday. The weather was very, very cold but we had great fun. Today the forecast is of the lowest temperatures ever recorded on New Year’s Day in Malta.
Joke:
A woman phoned her blonde neighbour man and said: "Will you please close your curtains the next time you and your wife make love. The whole street was watching and laughing at you yesterday."
To which the blonde man replied: "Well the joke's on all of you because I wasn't even at home yesterday."

I don't think I'll vote for this Miss Poppins! Very much a male figure but I guess the songs would have been good and apart from that - good to get out! Can't imagine Malta to be called cold!
