CONFUSION?

Certainly not. This is one last shot from those I took at Max’s birthday party – actually it’s a merge of 4 shots. I have not posted shots of the kids having a fun time for the simple reason that Ian (my son-in-law) requested me not to. I'm not happy with this picture - the strong light near the glass doors contrasted too much with the dark on the other side.
The children were accompanied by their parents who had some refreshments while the party was going on. Most of them – every now and then - chased after their own children to see that they did not get hurt, or just to enjoy watching them playing.
Joke: At the party there was one girl, Julia Smith, who, when asked her name invariably replied: “I’m Mr Smith’s daughter”. As soon as they came into the hall her mum squatted down and told her not to forget that it was wrong to introduce herself like that and that she should say: “I’m Julia Smith”. After a few minutes, Mrs Goop, who in her village was known as the village gossip, came to the party with her daughter, too. When she saw the other lady’s girl running around she called her and asked: “Aren’t you Mr Smith’s daughter?” The girl replied: “I thought I was, but my mum says I’m not.”
