My Narcissus have started blooming, too. Very small and delicate. The variegated leaves next to the flower are from a different plant. The weather forecast predicts another five days of rain and cold.
Joke: George opened a new business in our area and he was very excited about it. He received many best wishes and congratulation notes from friends on this new venture. A friend of mine wanted to go a bit better than the other well-wishers. He went to the florist and ordered some flowers to be sent to George for the occasion. The flowers arrived on time at the new business site but George was very disappointed when he read the card which said : "Rest in Peace." So George, very annoyed, called the florist to complain. "Sir, I'm really sorry for the mistake, and sorry you were offended," replied the florist. "But even worse, somewhere there is a funeral taking place today, and they have flowers with a note saying, "Congratulations on your new location."
Thank you so much for looking, for the lovely comments and the fav's on yesterday's picture.
I love Narcissus- they are so pretty! I can't seem to get many growing here in my garden. I think I need to mix something into the soil this year. I guess you can tell I am not much of a gardener! You, on the other hand, have some beauties in your garden! Nice shot!
