My brother and I were having fun on the promenade. This flock of seagulls has made the beach below the promenade its home for the winter. Each time my brother clapped his hands once they all flew off and came back a few metres away. So, I prepared all the camera settings on them and when I said go, my brother clapped his hands and off they went while I took this shot. What is amazing is their hearing capabilities – we were at least 50 metres away from them.
I’m confined home today, have a cold and am shivering. The weather is cold though at the moment we have some sunshine.
.Joke: Two gulls resting on the beach were watching the sky waiting for the rest of their group when a jet fighter hurtled over their heads. One gull said to the other: "Wow! Look at that speed!"
. "Hmph!" snorted the other. "You would fly fast too if your tail was on fire!"
