Chadwick Lakes #3. These two girls were taking advantage of the nice weather to come jogging along the pathway that follows Chadwick Lakes. The area was very quiet and serene and made for a wonderful run for them.
Joke: It’s a little known fact that Tony Blair was a runner. For security reasons he used to go running very early in the morning, before dawn breaks. One morning, while running up Whitehall he ran past a lady of the night.
“Fifty quid,” she shouts.
“Make it a fiver,” Tony replied with a chuckle and ran on.
The next morning, she’s there again.
“Fifty quid!”
He called back, “Make it a fiver,” and ran on. This went on for a week until one morning Cherie (his wife) woke up and announced she’s joining her husband for a run. They got out and ran up Whitehall, where they passed the same lady of the night.
“See!” she called out. “That’s what you get for a fiver!”
