No Saturday night out this weekend. Christine and I went to my daughter’s so Ian and I could together watch Juventus vs Barcellona in the Euro Champions League final. JP flew to Berlin to watch the match live. So I’m posting this shot I took last Saturday when I took my camera with me to take some sunset shots. The sun looked like a ball of fire.
For the match, all the family supported Juventus while I supported Barcellona. In the end Barcellona won 3-1 with a goal in injury time. It was a good match between two great teams – Barcellona relying on the individual skills of their super stars while Juventus basing their play on collectivity.
Joke: It was evening and the sun was going down. Jeff and Nancy , an old married couple, were preparing supper before going early to bed. Jeff said: “I’m not going to bed tonight. I can’t stand another night without sleep.”
So Nancy went straight to the phone and called emergency for a doctor. The doctor was there in half an hour and asked: “What is the problem?”
Nancy: “Jeff says he cannot sleep at night.”
The doctor examines Jeff and turns to Nancy. He said: “Madam, there’s nothing wrong with your husband – he only needs some rest and peace. So here are some sleeping pills.”
Nancy: “Thank you, doctor. When should I give them to him?”
Doctor: “They are for you…….”
