The story in this sequence of candid shots is my invention and there’s nothing true about it.
The story was actually as follows. Below me on the jetty I saw this young lady seemingly dressed as a bride sitting facing the sea and in what looked like a pensive mood. Then her boyfriend – or newly married husband – came along with this pocket camera taking shots of her. My impression was that they were taking some pre-wedding (or post-wedding) shots. This is not normal, in Malta, because weddings are a big business and professional photographers are engaged to take pictures of all the event (at a price going into thousands of euros). After some minutes talking they both got up and walked away. To me she appeared to be already heavy with child.
Joke: This newly married couple were sitting on the beach, enjoying the peace and colours of sunset. Suddenly the man turns to his wife and asks: 'Would you have married me if my father hadn't left me a fortune?'
'Honey,' the woman replied sweetly, 'I'd have married you, NO MATTER WHO LEFT YOU A FORTUNE!'
Thank you all so very much for looking and for the lovely comments and the fav's on yesterday's picture.
