THE ART OF FIREWORKS MAKING

Filling in gaps for the time I was away.

Enlarge for best view, if you have time. Thank you.

These are two different ‘ground’ fireworks displays ready to be set off. We call them ‘ground’ because they are held in position by poles stuck to the ground. Each one, when lit, will barely last a minute before it dies down.

These are part of display set up on the occasion of the Feast of St Gregory, the last parish feast to be celebrated in our area.

Joke: While waiting for the fireworks display to begin, a little boy asked his father,
'Daddy, how much does it cost to get married?'
Father replied, 'I don't know son, I'm still paying.'
Brilliant image.

They look interesting without the lights, but when they're lit and spinning I'm sure they look really pretty!
