On the first evening of our week-end in Gozo we went for a pizza at Nadur. Here there is a bar and restaurant; it’s owner (a Gozitan) is a staunch Stoke City football supporter. I made friends with him telling him I had been several times to Stoke (and that is true) and that for that I had sympathy with their football club. Since then we go visit him and eat at his restaurant every time we’re in Gozo. Looking forward to go again and discuss Stoke’s double win over Chelsea lately.
BTW this is a view as you exit from my friend’s restaurant.
NO TO TERRORISM. While I was relaxed on an armchair watching an entertaining friendly football match between Belgium and Italy on the tv, a tragedy was going on in Paris. I saw what was happening immediately the match was finished when I saw the tv news bulletin. WHY DOES SOMETHING LIKE THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN IN 2015? STOP THIS INHUMAN KILLING OF INNOCENT PEOPLE.
Joke: It's career day in primary school where each student talks about what their dad does. Little Johnny is last, and finally the teacher calls on him to talk about his dad. Johnny comes to the front of the class.
'My daddy is a dancer at a gay bar. He takes off his clothes for other men.”
The teacher is shocked, and she calls for an early recess for the rest of the class. She sits down with Johnny and asks him if this is really true about his dad.
Johnny says; 'No, but I was too embarrassed to say he played for Chelsea.'
Beautiful shot and like Osia @panthora -- I love to see the red phone booth which by now is a rarity on the streets of the UK .But somehow in this setting it does seem to be a little out of place for me !
Great capture of this interesting buliding.
Great night shot of this beautiful square
