This cat seemed oblivious of me taking its picture. Don’t you think he/she is cute?
We in Malta call cats with these colours and tones ‘Ginger’. We call a ‘Ginger’ also people who have a fair complexion, blonde hair and blue eyes as most of our race have dark hair and eyes. My mum used to say that I was born a ‘ginger’ but my hair turned darker as I grew up and and then lighter and lighter when I started growing down (haha) again; my eyes are still greenish blue.
Thank you very much for looking and for all the wonderful comments and the fav's on yesterday's picture.
Beautiful. I do have a ginger coloured hair daughter living in the UK. Funny my hair is black and my husband do have brown hair. People often ask her where she comes from and can't believe form South Africa. They think she is from the Scandinavia or one of those countries. I am rather tan from colour. Her skin is snow white and she never get brown or tanned in the sun. Looks like her father.
I love ginger cats and this is a lovely shot, but they can be very naughty, so I have a black and white who is wonderful and 10 years old this year. He just happened to badly need a home at the time, so I melted!. Did you know gingers are usually male and only about 1 in every 11 are female, I have only seen 2 female gingers ever! Well that was what I was told fact wise!.
A pretty capture.
