FUND RAISING FOR CHARITY

Youngsters washing cars – and themselves, too.
There was a fund raising activity at the Salesians’ Club in Sliema a few days ago in aid of a charitable institution. My brother, who was with me, wanted to go have a look because both his grandchildren were taking part. So there we went. I had the camera with me and took some shots. Loved those children having fun giving a good wash to the cars. They had good business as cars were left queuing for their turn to be washed.
The sc on the green shirts is to celebrate St Patrick’s Day.

We often had car washing in the youth group I was part of in high school. It was a lot of fun and by the end of the day most of us were soaked to the bone. But we loved it. Great shot!
