The sun goes down in the west (as if you didn’t know) but I took this shot facing east from the hotel balcony. The day was Easter Saturday and I was whiling away the time till we got ready to go for dinner.
The golden sunlight on the island of Comino, the third biggest island of the Maltese archipelago looked too beautiful not to capture.
Only one family lives on Comino but there is a Five Star hotel there and in summer it is overcrowded with day trippers. The Comino coastline has many underwater caves which makes it very popular with divers, too.
