FOSSILS

Shot taken on Easter Monday, the last day of our vacation in Gozo.
From Xwejni Bay we went for a walk along the coast road. The surface layer of the rocks is all fossils. Beneath this layer the rock is soft – Upper Coralline Limestone (I think) - and many parts have been eroded by the sea but this bit still stands out proud.
I didn’t stay long at the dentist’s. All’s well, just replacement of one lost filling.
