MEDIEVAL MDINA - THE AGE OF CHIVALRY

I am always enchanted by the elegance of the people - as depicted in some histories - and their beautiful rich garbs of this era. That period seems so very romantic. But then I start thinking of the serfs, the workers. the poor, the slaves, ect that roamed the streets in ragged clothes looking for morsels to eat to keep them from dying. Still they are beautiful to watch parading the streets.

I agree - now that I got into watching Game of Thrones I feel like ohh what a lovely medieval time, the costumes the way Ladys are treated how lovely - next minute they're battling in the mudd chopping each others heads off ... so maybe the romantic touch isnt all worth it
