And the streets were almost deserted.
How different from the area I was brought up and still live in and where confusion reigns in the streets! I thank God that I live on its outskirts of the town and still can enjoy some quiet - till now.
This is the centre of Safi village with the parish church lording it over the surrounding buildings. I went to have a look at the gorgeous building adjacent to the church and found that that is a nuns' convent. At that time I said to myself: “would love to be a nun living in there for a couple of days”. However, the modern building right behind it brought me back to my senses and realised I am not good for a monastic life, haha.
Many thanks for looking and for your comments on yesterday's picture.
Lovely capture, love the buildings and the footpath Fav.
