St Julians Festa - no fireworks worth talking about but still a lot of interesting shots to take.
Even bandsmen get thirsty. While the procession with the statue of the patron saint took one course, the band was playing elsewhere within the confines of the village. The band stopped near this place so the bandsmen could quench their thirst at this pub – drinks for all the bandsmen and probably on the house. Here they mingle with the pub’s patrons while they have a ‘merited’ rest. Not sure if the rest is actually merited as they stop to rest after each tune (and at each bar that offers them free drinks, haha) but it’s part of the fun of the festa.

Can not beat a good Irish Pub, My wife and myself have been to many in our time all over Ireland. She was born in Limerick and we try to get over once a year if possible...Fav
