THE FALCONER

Back to my holiday account - nearing the end now.

I saw a falconry show at Hohenwerfen Castle and took some good shots of the birds in the display - there were 3 or 4 of them each with its own handler.

This is one of my first shots. The handler is here feeding chicken legs to his bird. If you enlarge you can see it more clearly. What kind of bird of prey this is I don't know.
