I took this shot in HDR some weeks ago with my camera hand held. Very difficult to do that and I think you need to support the camera to take consecutive shots at different focal length without disturbing the angle of the shot and getting the result all blurred. This is one shot that came out right from several shots I tried on my outing of the day.
This shot shows the entrance to Mdina, our old capital city before the building of Valletta in the late 16th century. I took the shot from the ditch surrounding the fortifications. The original city entrance was closer to that tree trunk as you can see in the picture. The majestic entrance that you see today dates from the 18th century.
The city has been nicknamed ‘The Silent City’ as no vehicles are allowed in there except those of the residents who have a special permit to do that.
The camera worked overtime this week-end. So many pictures to upload and to process on the computer.
Many thanks for your views, comments and fav's on yesterday's shot. Very much appreciated.
